Fracture success!
24.05.2009
Help the Hatters are delighted to announce the Fracture night held at the Bungalow a fantastic success!
With close to 200 people crammed in, Fracture had Edgeley rocking as fans of all ages sang and danced along with Roger and the band, who covered everything from Snow Patrol to the Kings of Leon. A special performance from Keith Briggs added to the occasion.
Supporting Fracture was Peter Wilson, who had the crowd entertained throughout the evening with music and a touch of comedy! The raffle, which raised almost £200, included two “antique” county shirts, both fully signed by the then squad, which were kindly donated by Alan Brazier, an exiled hatter, who’s contribution is much appreciated.
The raffle was drawn by a crowd pleasing James Gannon, who stayed for the duration and happily spoke to fans and had pictures taken.
But perhaps the highlight of the event was the Help the Hatters presentation, done by patron Helen Foster-Grime, who worked hard ensuring the event ticked over, as she presented John Fitzpatrick, Mike & Joyce Hopper with awards for their phenomenal contribution to Help the Hatters and Stockport County Football Club.
This event was truly a night to remember, whilst the comradery amongst all in attendance epitomises what being a Stockport County fan is all about, even during these challenging times.
